Murder Mystery Dance
December 27 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm$45
Murder at The Grand Gatsby party at Hal Sapone’s Emerald City Ballroom!
This is an interactive “murder mystery” dance party, where a fictitious murder will take place and those in attendance try to figure out who done it. We encourage you to dress for this is a Grand Gatsby 1920’s style event in “period attire”. Emerald City Ballroom has arranged for over 50 character profiles to distribute to those who wish to participate. The sooner you register, the sooner you get your profile, and the more time you have to get your costume ready and practice your character. Participants will be expected to role play their character for the entire evening, as well as for a pregame interaction with other participants. There will be 3 rounds of story, clues, motivations, and reveals, spread throughout the 3 hour dance party. Guests will interact with each other throughout the evening and investigate their suspicions as to who done it.
It is the height of Prohibition of the 1920s. Two crime bosses Hal Sapone & Beanie O’Dannon are meeting at the Emerald City Ballroom Speakeasy to finalize an agreement to collaborate on bootlegging. The tension between both gangs is thick enough to cut with a knife. Can they trust each other or is past bloodshed too much to overcome? This party is sure to be the event of the season. Themed decor and some light refreshments will add to the magic of this special event.
